Centerpoint Medical Group Offers Free Back-to-School Sports Physicals

As student-athletes prepare to return to the field, court and classroom, Centerpoint Medical Group is helping families check one more item off their back-to-school checklist by offering free sports physicals at nine participating primary care and walk-in clinic locations across Central Kentucky.

The promotion is available to the first 20 students at each participating clinic and runs through August 15, 2026. Appointments may be scheduled by calling any participating location directly.

Sports physicals help determine whether a student is healthy and ready to safely participate in school athletics and extracurricular activities. During the visit, providers review the student's medical history, evaluate overall health and identify any concerns that may require additional evaluation before the sports season begins.

"Participating in school sports is one of the best ways for students to stay active and develop lifelong healthy habits," said Dr. Brian Andreas, Centerpoint Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Physician. "By offering free sports physicals throughout our region, we're making it easier for families to prepare for the school year while helping ensure young athletes can participate safely."
